IMATS LA 2013

Last weekend I hit up IMATS on Sat!!
I always love IMATS to get filled up with inspiration, beauty and check out all the makeup, people watch, see some great speakers and buy lots of product for my Makeup Kit!!!!

There were plenty of live demonstrations

I watching the legendary makeup artist Roshar do a high fashion look.

His finished looks! So cool!!

Brush heaven!!

Here are just some of the things I bought for my kit, I also bought lots of disposables, powder puffs, mascara wands, brush cleaner etc.
I go through lashes like its not even funny!!! ;O

These are my fav lip glosses ever! They smell amazing, are moisturizing and really stay on, plus you have 2 options!!

I saw these and I fell in love....

Stocking up on brushes, as a makeup artist using the best quality & precise tools of the trade are very important!!

Right now I have a girl crush on Elizabeth Olesen!
She is stunning, I love how she does her Makeup & Hair!
(She is the sister of Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.)

She does a lot of neutral toned smokey eyes or just a winged line with a nude lip and some bronzer. Simple, classic & stunning!

I love this look and do it on myself pretty much every day with a smokey eye and nude lips. ;)

Male Grooming! Ladies love a man who is well groomed ;)

Here are some pics from a shoot I did with a male model Philip and Photographer Matt Brown.
We did a few different looks, from 'slick & groomed' to a tousled 'bad boy' look with the leather jacket.

I believe that how we look plays a huge role in how we feel and how others see us. Its important to wear things that make you feel good!
When you take the time to look your best, and take care of yourself then others will really respect you and want to treat you better than if you show up looking like a slob. If you dont care about yourself and are lazy then why would people want to work with you??

There is nothing more attractive than a man that knows how to dress well and take care of himself,smells good etc, it shows that he cares. Also I think its important and so much fun to change up your look every 3-4 years, get a new haircut, change your styles, your signature look, try something completely different!

My current Mascara OBSESSION!!

I first discovered Victoria's Secret Makeup when I was playing around with the testers and their eye shadow colors were really beautiful and went on strong, and stayed on which is really important. Their Mascara is super cheap and affordable so I thought id try it out and OMG I love it! I am obsessed with mascara anyway and wear a lot of it! But their Mascara is amazing if you love really thick, long lashes like me!

Ive been obsessed with Mascara since I was 13, and if I was only allowed one beauty product for the rest of my life it would be Mascara for sure!!

This was the first one I bought which is amaizng

Some times just applying a few coats of Mascara, some neutral eye shadow and some lip gloss or tinted lip balm can do WONDERS!

Epic Mascara
This is the current mascara I use and its absolutely amazing if you love big lashes!

Look Im Lovin~ Jessica Beil!

I am loving Jessica Beil's Natural Makeup and her Ponytail with the side swept bangs so pretty,classic and simple!
Her cheekbones are to Die for too!!

Loving the "No Makeup" Makeup look on her & Nude Lips
-Nude lips also make your lips appear bigger, plumper.
-Another way to enhance your lips is to apply a little highlighter/shimmer around the outline of your lips & dab some gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.

New Makeup Haul!!

Today I recieve a box of new Makeup in the mail!!! :)
I am so excited to try out a bunch of different lip products from LTW Custom Cosmetics!!! http://www.ltwcustomcosmetics.com/
Their website is super cute too, beautiful advertising. The products are packaged in sexy leopard print, and arrived in leopard print wrapping paper and the slogan is "Unleash Your Inner Sexy" which I love!





LTW Cosmetics also have tutorials on their website with beautiful editorial makeup photos, then what products used to achieve that particular look!

Lips trend~ Dark inside

One of my good friends who is also an amazing makeup artist mentioned that she has been adding a bit of darker lipstick in the middle of the bottom lip to add more dimension and I love this look;
The creamy grey smokey cat eye is sexy too!
