WooHoo Weekend Recap!

This past weekend has been a BLAST!!! I had the most amazing time at Lisa Steadman's WOOHOO WEEKEND ~ www.lisasteadman.com
Which was at the Beautiful Marriot Renaissance at LAX

I did Lisa's Hair & Makeup for the 2 day workshop.
I also had the pleasure of doing Bonnie Gayle's Makeup on Day 1.

I have had the pleasure of working with Lisa for a few years now at her Woohoo Weekends and other transformational workshops and always meet the most amazing people and business contacts! Lisa is so awesome & REAL & Authentic which is what I love about her!! Lisa is an Author, Coach, Mentor, Speaker, Dating Coach, Expert and Woohoo Woman!!

My favorite vendor from the event~ Azie Naami! I bought one of her beautiful necklaces for a special someone!

My second client of the day amazing Speaker & Body Liberator Bonnie Gayle~!

I loved Bonnie's story & talk here is a sneak peak of some of her handout (Which talked about how our words effect water & our bodies are made up of at LEAST 70% water!!!)
Bonnie is a Body Liberator she helps people get in touch with and truly love their bodies. After overcoming her eating disorder and body image issues, Bonnie successfully sponsored and mentored hundreds of women and men with body issues issues. I got emotional when Bonnie was talking because I could so relate to what she was saying and have definitely struggles with my own body image.

The food was amazing the hotel set up a big table of options both days. As a vegan I made some big salads! Here's Day 1.

Lisa's Look for Day 2. I wanted to change things up and did a Bright Red Lip pared with a sexy grey smokey eye & lashes of course!

On Day 2 these are the top products I used on Lisa, This Lorac eyeshadow palette is so sexy, smokey and does not crease ALL Day!!!

For Lisa's Lips I used a Nars Lip Color Pencil first then dabbed this amazing Lip Tar by OCC on top!

Hairstyling by Me~ with Erika!

I loved doing Erika's hair for her wedding! It was a pleasure to be a part of and help her look beautiful on her big day!

For Erika's hair I did a big clean high bun. This look was perfect because it was a HOT day!! (I think it was actually over 100 degrees out!)

I am so humbled, blessed and excited to be picked by my amazing Life Coach Khama Anku as her Client of the week! I am only a few weeks into her 6 month program but I have been SO inspired and seen some amazing and exciting changes in my life already!!

She is awesome!! It really helps to have someone supporting you on your path in life and get an outsiders perspective on your life. I know I don't NEED a coach and can achieve things on my own but investing in MYSELF and MY DREAMS by hiring one really helps to lazer focus on what I want and get where I want to be faster.
All the most successful people in the world have coaches and business advisers or a dream team of cheerleaders around them that truly support and believe in them deeply!
I am human, im insecure, I have fears and past hurts and having a coach like Khama who also helps spiritually to help me let go of what is blocking me and holding me back in life!

Whats the point in living if we don't make it worth while, play big and live to the full?? How can we give to others if we cant even give to or accept ourselves??

Its crazy that most people will spend $100's of dollars every single week on bills and things they HAVE to pay for but feel bad about or don't invest in themselves.
You should always invest in self first!! Taking care of yourself is most important and allows you to better take care of others!!

Behind the scenes of a Sun Kissed shoot with Danish Model & Photographer

It was BRIGHT and HOT! The HOTTEST day of summer apparently~~!

On Kristina I did big, voluminous curls in her hair paired with a really contoured, dewy, bronzy makeup look.
I used bronze eye shadows, blending a few shades across her lids & blended along her lower lash-line. Then I lined her inner eye rims with a brown liner pencil. Lashings of mascara, then plenty of bronzer on her cheeks and finished the look with a natural lip gloss.

Mirabella & Renee Strauss Beauty Event at the London Hotel

About 2 weeks ago I attended an awesome Bridal Beauty Event with some other Makeup Artist & Beauty Bloggers at the London Hotel.
The event started in The Gordon Ramsey Restaurant where we had the Breakfast Buffet and met the creator of Mirabella http://www.mirabellabeauty.com/ John Maly & Renee Strauss http://www.reneestrauss.com/. (Who were both super sweet and friendly!)

Then after breakfast we went to another area of the hotel for a Beautiful Bridal Fashion Show;

Wedding gowns from Renee Strauss and all the Makeup looks were doing with Mirabella Products!


After the event we mingled outside, tried out the products, sipped cocktails and took home some amazing goodie bags!! I love the Mirabella products and I love that they are Paraben & Cruelty free and come is ready made sets with everything you need to achieve the full look. I choose the Day Dreamer set because that was my favorite look from the Fashion Show.
